Silent Explosion

A device that has the power to speed up metal fatigue in steel falls into the hands of a terrorist. A series of disasters in New York follows, killing hundreds of people. The terrorist informs the FBI that a major skyscraper has been exposed and will collapse in a week unless certain demands are met. Tony French, owner of the company that produced the device, joins the FBI in a race against time to find the terrorist and avoid a monumental disaster before the President is forced to comply with those demands. The identity of the terrorist offers a unique and surprising twist.
