A love story between a western journalist, a womanizer, and his Turkish-Iranian guide into Iran. A woman who suffers greatly on his account so that he may be an eyewitness to history and an event that may terminate an insurgency, the more extreme of their position now with access to nuclear technology. A woman who lost a daughter during a time in religious upheaval, who was divorced by her husband who has moved from Iran to Turkey will herself be at risk as she and her charge make their way to the tiny fishing village of Asalem on the Caspian Sea.
