The Last Conspirator

In 1959 Inspector Gordon Whyte, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, is called in to investigate a very gruesome murder in a small rural Alberta town. The victim is found hanging in his barn, his dog has been shot and there does not appear to be a motive for the murder. A diary and personal papers give valuable clues. The investigation leads Whyte and his assistant, Constable Giesel into a world of international intrigue and war crimes. There are additional murders and what appear to be vigilante executions. The solution to the murders leads to international suspects with personal motives.
