The Marquis Wins (Ulverscroft Romance)

Daniela is saved at the last minute from marriage to the Comte, a blackmailer and procurer, by the Marquis of Crowle. Escaping to his yacht, they are pursued down the Rhine by Esme Blanc, her evil stepmother who had organized the marriage in an effort to obtain Daniela's inheritance.
