This book is intended to fill a gap in the range of books currently available on radiation protection. The purpose is to provide radiographers and radiologists with the information required to answer the increasingly exacting questions from the public on the risks of radiation. The information contained in "Radiation Protection in the X-ray Department" can be obtained elsewhere, but with difficulty and from about 14 different sources.
