Authors Bart Farkas and Douglas Kiang are more concerned with making learning Flight Simulator fun than they are with the minutia of real-life aviation. Even so, the game's options for intense realism make it impossible to talk about the simulation with out teaching a bit of the real thing. Farkas and Kiang keep the fun level up with a light-hearted breezy style that encourages playfulness in the virtual cockpit. The book is loaded with useful tips for beginners and experienced players alike--as well as some devilish ideas no pilot would dare try in real life.
