Gracie woke up in a huge grump and she wanted to let everyone know about it... So begins the tale of Grumpy Gracie, who spreads her grumpy mood until a new friend shows her how to turn her frown upside-down. Gracie's frown is die-cut all the way through the book, which is flipped half-way through to reveal a smile. The accompanying illustrations are colorful and expressive, a reflection of Lloyd's quirky style. This charming book gives kids of all ages an important lesson about how their frowns--and smiles--affect everyone around them.
