Lessons from the Oklahoma City Bombing: Defensive Design Techniques

This book documents the Oklahoma City bombing incident from a structural standpoint. It provides detailed discussion of the construction of the building and the hazard mitigation stops taken during the rescue/recovery process. Both authors were present during this process: Dr. Hinman conducted a bomb damage assessment survey to verify blast resistant design concepts that are currently employed, and Mr. Hammond served as Chief Structural Engineer after the incident.
