Immunology & Immunopathology of Domestic Animals

This reference combines basic veterinary immunology with a heavy emphasis on immunopathological mechanisms of disease and immunologic evaluation of patients. Basic immunological principles and functions are covered in the first section. The second section describes how to evaluate immunity through the use of neutrophilic, humoral and lymphocytic essays. Section Three covers immunopathologic conditions such as immunodeficiencies, myelomas and lymphomas. Host, disease, agent and vaccine interactions and other principles of immunoprophylaxis are examined in the final section.
