Sydney Carrigan is a hard-working woman in business for herself, training horses for ranchers and rodeo people alike. She becomes an unwilling witness as three young men brutally assault a Colorado State trooper. A raging blizzard and the circumstances of the attack bring out a strength of will and courage that Sydney isn't even aware she possesses. Mark Adams, a man just doing his job, awakens from a concussion in the arms of a woman he is sure is an angel. Battling the elements to survive brings the two of them together in a way neither could have imagined. Battling the obstacles that would keep them apart becomes the true test of their survival.
