Rural Development: Principles, Policies and Management

Professor Singh critically analyses rural development and provides an operational framework for rural policies and programmes. He defines the objectives of rural development; looks at agricultural and rural development policies initiated in India; and then considers the organization and management of development and examines the planning, financing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies.
