Story-Shaped Christology proposed that inquiries into the identity of Jesus Christ can fruitfully employ different kinds of narrative within their larger systematic endeavor. Drawing on the work of Walter Kaspar, Edward Schilebeeckx, Franz Josef van Beeck, and others. Robert Krieg shows how the use of narratives can contribute to the christological task of identifying Jesus today. To this end he uses the three categories of narrative: The historical narrative, the biblical story, and biography.
