Building upon their previous compilation, U.S. Foreign Policy and the Middle East/ North Africa: A Bibliography of Twentieth Century Research (Garland, 1989), the compilers offer an extensive collection of published material in different print formats, printed, microform, published as books, essays, monographs, and articles, as well as graduate school efforts, all in western languages up through the end of 1992 and into 1993. Extensive coverage is particularly provided for the Persian Gulf War. Citations are organized by selected index terms, with an accompanying author index.
