Days of the Lord: Volume 5: Ordinary Time, Year B

Year B is dedicated to the Gospel of Mark, with an interruption for John 6. We shall see that it is driven by a forceful dynamism, owing to Mark's vigorous style and his manner of organizing his subject matter. He shows Jesus always on the go, unceasingly moving elsewhere, farther, and urging his disciples to follow him without ever stopping and getting settled. There is not the slightest lull of drama that rapidly unfolds.
