Meet Abraham Lincoln

This biography allows young readers to see Abraham Lincoln not only as one of the most influential presidents in American history, but also as a youngster with hopes and dreams. They'll discover that young Abe so loved to read that he walked miles to borrow a book; that he lost his mother at the age of nine and bonded with his stepmother; and that he vowed never to forget the slave auction he saw when he was a teenager.
