The author finds in Spirtualism, Theosophy, and Buddhism one kindred thrust: to set aside the salvation of the Lord Jesus, to substitute a doctrine that sin must be gradually worn away by our own works or sufferings, either in a spirit world or in a series of reincarnations upon earth.
