Electronic Music Circuit Guidebook

This book gives a lot of useful (and some not-so-useful) electronic circuits for making sound effects and music, but the main thrust of the book is on how to make your own analog sythesizer from scratch. I made the circuits on a wiring board, so they never existed permanently and ran the output to an old guitar amp that I'd gotten at a swap-meet. I learned the inner workings of a synthesizer very well with this book. Later, when I was able to purchase one I was able to get the sounds I wanted very easily. Playing it was a totally different story.
