RIQUEVAL: HINDENBURG LINE (Battleground Europe. Hindenburg Line)

The Allied assault on the Riqueval Bridge during World War I bears some resemblance to the capture of the Bridge at Remagen in 1944. Today, many traces of Riqueval's fascinating defense system still remain, in an area not as frequently visited by tourists.
