Demotic Papyri and Ostraca from Qasr Ibrim (TEXTS FROM EXCAVATIONS MEMOIRS)

This compact volume presents the translations of demotic texts found during the Egypt Exploration Society's excavations in Qasr Ibrim from 1978-80. A great many of the texts are fragmentary, but two intact letters - a series of requests made to an oracle - are of considerable importance to our understanding of this ancient society.
