Looking back (Disha poetry)

The poems reflect Bhatla's meetings with a variety of "ordinary people" as he looks back at his life in Bombay. Lovers of serious and difficult poetry have much to brood over when the confront the subtle, yet convincingly human characters of Sanjiv Bhatla. He is not their creator but their companion, exemplary in sympathy, even if mildly ironic.
