Aymara Weavings

After many years in the Andes the authors have prepared this book to accompany a traveling exhibit of 1983. They became aware of the rich and ancient Aymara textile tradition of the Lake Titicaca Basin Plateau. They found information in archives and Spanish chronicles in the countries of Aymara influence: Bolivia, Chile, and Peru.
