Biomarkers of Environmental Contamination

This is a review of the use of biological markers in animals and plants for evaluating the ecological and health effects of environmental contamination. Biomarkers can be used as indicators of exposure to toxic chemicals and as predictors of the adverse consequences of such exposure.
