This tool aims to help assess industrial hygiene professionals' knowledge in such specific disciplines as preparation for certification exams. The program, designed for PC/XT/AT/PS2 or 100% IBM-compatible computers, contains over 650 questions covering topics such as safety engineering, safety management, systems safety, and industrial management. Questions are selected at random and are presented in a question and answer format, with immediate feedback and technical explanations provided for all missed questions. Scores are calculated and displayed for each discipline. To help prepare for the certification exams, the program allows the reader to simulate taking exams by testing knowledge on the whole question database, discipline by discipline. Questions can be printed on paper, with or without a separate answer sheet, thus allowing study at home, on an airplane, or anywhere a computer cannot be used.
