📖 Description
Clyde S. Kilby spins a 1964 remembrance and close acquaintance with J.R.R. Tolkien into an intimate portrait of the writer. Kilby provides clues to the content of 'The Silmarillion', then to be published posthumously and elaborates on the close relationships Tolkien had with C.S. Lewis and contemporary Charles Williams. Kilby was a Professor of English and at Wheaton College, IL.
