Electroceramics in Japan: Proceedings of the 22nd Electronics Division Meeting of the Ceramic Society of Japan, Kawasaki, Japan, October 2002 (Csj Series, Vol. 11)

Japan is the most active country in carrying out research on electroceramics. This research field is also rapidly expanding, and has tremendous implications for a wide range of high-tech applications. This volume presents research results on ceramic science as applied to conductive ceramics in electronics, and their exploitation by Japan as dielectrics, piezoelectric and ferroelectric devices, semiconductors, insulators, thin-film electroceramics, batteries and cells, memory devices and optical elements. Emphasis is placed on the potential applications of these materials, as well as on production and fabrication techniques.
