Link to the Past, Bridge to the Future : Colonial Williamsburg's Animals

Colonial Williamsburg's animals provide a link to our colonial past. This lavishly illustrated book covers domestic and wild animals, including those in the Colonial Willliamsburg Foundation's Rare Breed program, which preserves and showcases animals-among them Devon cattle, leicester longwool sheep, and American Cream Draft and Canadian horses-similar to those that lived in the colonial era.
