Movie posters--those colorful and glorious harbingers of pleasures ""Coming Soon"" to the local Strand, Roxy and Bijou---have become a people's art form to be enjoyed on their own merits, and to be admired and valued for their aesthetic and historical significance. These colorfully-inviting posterss exploited the themes as much as the art and popular culture of the times. All individual designs in the book may be used in any manner without permission with some minor limitations.
