I Was There

The author survived over 5 years under the Nazi regime in various parts of Poland and the Baltic countries. For a certain period, she was a servant at a Gestapo headquarters and witnessed the acts of their brutality. She was then taken to a number of concentration camps. This is a shocking and always moving story of faith, intuition and great determination to survive.
