Assisting in the Pharmacy prepares students to work in an entry-level position in a community pharmacy. Aspiring allied healthcare workers learn pharmacology basics and the importance of good customer service. Other topics include counterfeit prescriptions; drug schedules and classifications; safety considerations; and record keeping.
