Elementary Soil and Water Engineering

As in the first and second editions, this elementary textbook on soil and water engineering has been written primarily for classroom and laboratory instruction at the college level for students in agriculture and in related non-engineering fields. The purpose of the book is to present up-to-date information that has been gathered through experience and research in a form that will be useful for the beginning student of this subject. The engineering phases of soil and water conservation are emphasized, but the authors have realized that all aspects of these problems must be considered, including agronomic, economic and others.
