Farewell Welfare

Farewell Welfare is an example of how each of us can contribute to the enpowerment of others. The description of my journey, along with my two children, from domestic violence to welfare, welfare to school, from school to work, and finally to business owner, public speaker, trainer and author,provides information and inspiration to other people who are on their way from welfare to self sufficiency. This book offers clarity about welfare related issues for people who also want to contribute but don't know how. It is a valuable tool for welfare recipients and for staff members working at organizations and agencies that serve welfare clients.
