Embalmers' Archives from Hawara (Griffith Institute Publications) (Egyptian Edition)

Twenty-one demotic and four Greek legal texts, together with Greek subscriptions to the demotic texts, are published in this volume. All texts are presented in photographs accompanied by descriptions of the papyri on which they are written, palaeographical notes, transliteration, translation and commentary. Extensive introductory notes deal with the topography of Hawara and the organization and economy of the Hawara embalmers.
