This is the 30th Anniversary edition of Beyond Affairs. It was groundbreaking when first published in 1980 and is just as relevant today as more couples are seeking ways of coping with the devastating impact of affairs. This was the first book in which a couple candidly shared their first-person experience in dealing with affairs and working through the emotional trauma to rebuild their marriage. The writing is unique in that it tells the story from the perspective of both the husband and the wife. Now married 55 years, the Vaughans include an Epilogue in this new edition to bring readers up to date on their story. They were the first couple to go on national TV to discuss their personal experience with affairs. This was the beginning of their long-term effort to provide information and perspective to other couples facing this challenge.
