Part of the Irish Families Project, this is the County Mayo volume of the 28 book set from the IGF library. It includes the surnames of individuals found in the 17th century Mayo Book of Survey & Distribution, County Map, listing of modern parishes and placenames as well as older place names, plus coats of arms of families in Mayo taken from the Irish Book of Arms. (note that the arms are taken from very old originals, some several hundred years old, and are worn in appearance as you would expect).
