Tam Van Tran: Psychonaut

Vietnam native Tam Van Tran makes paintings and works on paper that balance the natural and the man-made. His use of organic materials in his abstractions has roots in his deep and abiding interest in both contemporary art history and ancient Buddhist meditation. Visually beautiful and psychologically edgy, one never knows whether the perspective is microcosmic or galactic.
