Teaching Number Sense, Grade 2

Number sense encompasses a wide range of skills, including being able to make estimates and to think and reason flexibly. In these lessons, children compose and decompose larger numbers, develop their computation strategies, strengthen their sense of place value, and sharpen their estimation skills.
