The Social Responsibility of the Investment Profession

Socially responsible investment (SRI) is an investment approach driven by the values and beliefs of the investor. The four approaches to SRI considered in this work can be shown to relate to other investment frameworks widely used in finance. SRI concerns are relevant to any investor who does not subscribe to the concept of market, or economic, efficiency.
