Formula Student 1998-2013 Building Successful Engineers

This book showcases the Formula Student story so far, featuring photos and case studies from each competition since 1998. Formula Student have grown into the largest student motorsport competition in the world and 2013 FS saw the first triumph of an electric car over petrol-powered vehicles in any accredited motorsport competition worldwide. It was an editorial in the Race Tech magazine in the autumn of 1997 that helped sow the seeds for the mighty event that Formula Student has now become. It was a call to arms for British industry and academia to emulate what was happening in the USA with the popular Formula SAE event.
