Sacred Influences: Spiritual Action in Human Life

The talks brought together in this book are some of Mr. Bennett's attempts to share his understanding of 'spiritual action in human life' with students at The International Academy for Continuous Education in Sherborne Village, Gloucestershire, England. He gave these talks from 1973 up until his death in December of 1974. J.G. Bennett was for over fifty years a principal exponent of G.I. Gurdjieff's "System for Harmonious Development", which formed the foundation for his own investigations and explorations into the spiritual world. The Academy at Sherborne was instituted by Bennett as an experimental "Fourth Way School" through which he guided others onto a path of personal spiritual transformation.
