Solanco Heritage - History of southern Lancaster County, 1729-1991

This book came about as a way to document the history of Southern Lancaster County (Solanco) and also to commemorate Quarryville Borough's bicentennial celebration. Filled with maps and dozens of black and white photographs this book gives a history of all the townships making up Solanco, the agriculture, including the Amish influence, industries such as railroads, ironworks, stores, saloons, and hotels, some history of the Underground Railroad, Indian Wars and churches and schools.
