The Saga of Jack Durant

A poor, uneducated boy from the Smoky Mountains of Tennesse he left home at the age of 14. Making his way across country he learned to drink, smoke, and gamble. Eventually he took the alias of Jack Durant and used his "education" to become the only person gangster Bugsy Siegel trusted. From Vegas he went to Phoenix, AZ and opened a restaurant which became the place to be, where more business was conducted than any office in town.
