Ghim's SAT Mathematics Workshop

Ghim's SAT Mathematics Workshop is unique among SAT I Math preparation materials. While most SAT I Math materials, such as those published by ARCO, Barron's and Princeton Review, focus on breadth of subject matter, Ghim's Workshop focuses on depth as well as breadth. Ghim's Workshop addresses all geometric and algebraic concepts tested in the SAT I Math Exam and does so in far greater depth than do other currently available materials.

Years of SAT teaching experience, both in the U.S. and Korea, have convinced John Ghim that the best approach to achieving the highest performance in the Math portion of the SAT is accomplished by following three simple practices:

The current, most widely used SAT Math I study materials, while providing introductory instructions, tips and practice exercises, do not go into sufficient depth of difficulty on their own to bring most students to the highest level of achievement (700 plus scores).

Students from Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan outscore, by a wide margin, math and science students in the U.S. What sets Ghim's apart is its large number of challenging SAT-like problems (more than one thousand). Drawing from the example of math test materials typically used in the above nations, Ghim's provides a high number of practice SAT problems.
