A monograph describing phgysical and biological features of the Arctic regions of the world giving major consideration teh arthropod fauna. An annotated listing of North American arthropods comprises about one quarter of the book. There is an extensive bibliography and an appendices listing Arctic Islands and probable host groups of Ichneumonidae.
