Jumpstart Crystal Reports® Version XI: Level 1: The Basics

Our most recent manual, Jumpstart Crystal Reports® Version XI, covers the newest addition to the Crystal Reports® family, and shows students how to use the latest versions of Crystal Reports® to answer business questions quickly and easily. It uses the time-tested scenario approach to involve the student in a hunt for the best answers to difficult questions. Crystal Reports® XI, is the first full released since Business Objects purchased Crystal Decisions in 2004. Prior experience with Crystal Reports® or any similar software is not required. Students should have experience using MS-Windows (any version) and know how to use the computer s mouse. At the end of this course students will be able to create interesting and useful reports using Crystal Reports® Version XI. The reports will include totals, subtotals, formula fields and fields from multiple tables. The student will be able to use many of the newest features provided in these versions. They will be able to edit reports created by others to add or remove features. Students will be able to select the required records including selections based on groups of records and selections based on parameters provided by the end user. Moreover, students will learn the best way to accomplish these tasks so that they produce reliable reports quickly. By the end of this course the student will be a competent report writer.
