Sucha. Additional service music includes resources from United Methodist, Episcopal, Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, UCC and the unpublished work of Regina Fryxell for LBW. All liturgy features full score in both organ and pew editions. Hymns and liturgy contain bios of composers and hymnists to educate. For the first time in any hymnal, pictures are included to show the composer and hymnists as well. The goal of the hymnal in the liturgy is to teach, inspire and educate Lutherans to help in their Lutheran identity. Hymnal also will help those new to the Lutheran church with our heritage and hymnody to have a better understanding who we are. Hymnal offers singable harmonies to new and old hymns to encourage hearty participation from congregation. Biblical references are included in the liturgy texts to enable people to learn where they come from. Hymns include restored sung Amens at the ends. Goal of hymnal is to help congregations retain members and attract new ones as well.
