Medicine's Moral Mess: Why the delivery of health care in the United States must change

To hell with public versus private, capitalistic vs.socialistic, Republican vs. Democrat vs. Libertarian vs. Independent, or single payer vs. multiple payer. What matters is whether you, your children, parents, brothers, sisters and friends can wake up each morning knowing that excellent affordable health care is readily available without fear of financial distress or ruin. What matters is that our national economy is not ravaged by the impact of profound financial inefficiency of our patient unfriendly delivery system. The delivery of healthcare in the United States must change. We can do much better.
