The Daily Psalter: The Psalms by Week & Month

This book is an abridged version of the Psalms arranged so that all 150 Psalms can be read in one week or one month. Space for personal thoughts and meditations is provided for each day, so that the reader also becomes a "writer". It is suggested that this book be used the first month or week of each quarter as a spiritual discipline that leads to closeness to God and the beautiful expressions of a relationship with him through the Psalms. The Psalms in this volume are abridged to give the busy modern reader with little time, the opportunity to fit this reading/meditation/writing practice into their schedule. Over several years time it will become a unique personalized experience with God through reading the Psalms coupled with one's personal thoughts recorded in previous readings.
