Three Troll Girls Tuff

Whatever happened to the ugly troll who lived below the bridge? Did he find a new home? This tale answers those questions. It is a tongue in cheek, upside down, inside out retelling of the Three Billy Goats Gruff. Three Troll Girls Tuff uses the Billy Goat format to tell a Michigan folk tale based on current cultural myths and understandings. Today lower peninsula folks are referred to as trolls by the upper peninsula folks know as "da Yoopers". Being read to is proven by research to be the incentive for young children to want to learn to read. They will delight in this "read aloud" story.
