MeDiCaLeSe 2006

MeDiCaLeSe 2006 evolved from www.MeDiCaLeSe.org, the first place to look for new and elusive medical words, by and for medical transcriptionists. Unrestricted access to the database for one year is included in the price of this book. Our database includes terms that are not found in the standard medical references, such as clinical trial acronyms, herbal remedies, products available only outside the U.S., discontinued drugs, and unapproved cancer therapies. The database has been online since 2001 and is updated daily. This book contains a great deal of technical language and would be of limited use to the layperson. The primary intended audience for this book is the medical transcription community, especially those transcriptionists who do not have internet access while transcribing. Medical students, nurses, doctors, coders, pharmacists, and other health professionals will also find useful information here.
