If you like "Glee," you'll probably like this book.
The death of a high school friend takes Tom Swain back into his own past in search of a solution. That past includes a former flame, some reckless teenage behavior, his legacy as a loser who'd never amount to anything, an introduction to the world of elderly parents, and a reunion with his high school rock band, as old as the Rolling Stones but not as rich. It's a good thing he has a sense of humor, because anything can happen at the Jersey Shore while the tourists are away. Even singing pigs. And then there are the runes.
